INTERNATIONAL JUDO COMPETITION 1 (NE WAZA - TATE SHIHO)

Perhaps because of minuteness, sense of detail, seriousness & special fighting spirit of female athletes, tate shiho holds turn many cases into a moment of pure taming.

Here, in the middle weight class (52 Kgs) & during an international judo competition (exceptionally not of our production), fierce judo brawl goes quickly enough to the ground. Yellow tatami becomes the theater of horrible ne waza moment of almost 40 seconds, including a first class tate shiho immobilization of 20 seconds !. Observe first clever tate shiho preparation (almost 18 seconds), then horrible tate shiho hold (20 seconds). As often as this occasion, loser, completely trapped & tied, is reduced to turning on the tatami !!. That is what's going here; observe loser turning 360° on the tatami (winner's feet perfectly placed under loser's buttocks again in the same place of the tatami ....) (see images).
